Sunday 8th May-return visit to Stoneywell
Stoneywell is the new National Trust Property in Charnwood Forest. We went last year and decided to return in rhododendron season See previous year’s post. After that, we went off to the Copt Oak Again
Bluebell Walk Sunday 1st May
1st May and we mounted an expedition into the Outwoods in search of bluebells. This was successfully completed in good time to return to civilization before it rained
Treak Cliff Cavern and Peveril castle– Sunday 2 April
We set off to see these two attractions near Castleton in Derbyshire. It was a rather wet day, but it made no difference in the cave!
